This Window Walkway allows your cat to go back and forth between the inside of your home and the outdoor
enclosure through a screened window. The Window Walkway prevents your cat from escaping, and it
includes a flap-type door (see photo below) to minimize the possibility of insects entering your home. The
Model PS-50 Window Walkway is 5-feet long, which allows for shrubs and other objects to reside between
the outdoor enclosure and your home. Upon request, we can cut the Window Walkway to a shorter length
for an extra charge.
The Model PS-50 is compatible with any horizontal sliding or vertical sliding window that has an insect
screen on the outside of the glass. This includes both single-hung and double-hung window
configurations. The Model PS-50 is not compatible with picture windows (non-opening), casement
windows (tilt open from one side) or awning windows (tilt open from the bottom).
In order to engage the Window Walkway, the window that you select on your home must be capable of
opening to at least 11 inches high and at least 8 inches wide. The height of the Window Walkway is
adjustable such that it can accommodate windows mounted at various heights so long as the bottom of
the insect screen in the window is no higher than 46 inches above the ground. If this distance is greater
than 46 inches, we can design a custom walkway for you (contact us for specific pricing).
The only alteration that is required to a window that meets the criteria described above is that it will be
necessary for you to cut a rectangular hole in the insect screen to allow your cat to pass through the window.
Insect screens are inexpensive and easy to replace, so you will not have any difficulty restoring the screen
back to its original condition if someday you decide to move the cat enclosure to a different window.
The materials are anodized aluminum, galvanized steel, and high performance plastics, so the Window
Walkway will withstand years of exposure to the outdoor elements. The Window Walkway is fully
assembled at our factory. Installation is easy and clear instructions are included with the product. There
is a limited warranty on the materials and workmanship. US Patents apply.
